Brandon
Poole

Brandon Poole  (b.1986) is an artist and researcher based in Montreal, QC. Having previously trained in journalism and philosophy, his practice moves by way of interviews and fieldwork to examine the entwined histories and speculative futures of media, simulation, and the image. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts, with honours and distinction, from the University of Victoria, a Master of Visual Studies from the University of Toronto, and he is currently a PhD student within McGill’s School of Architecture (History and Theory). His work has been shown at Dazibao, the Toronto Biennial, the University of Toronto’s Art Museum, Presentation House (Polygon) Gallery (Vancouver, BC), and Deluge Contemporary Art (Victoria BC).
